Sample Preparation Laborer

  • Location: Quebec city
  • Schedule: Full time (5-2)
  • Salary: Starting at $21.50 per hour

Job Description

  • Receive and identify mineral samples.
  • Dry, crush, grind, and sieve samples according to established procedures.
  • Weigh and split samples for analysis.
  • Clean and maintain preparation equipment.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines at all times.
  • Perform any other related tasks as requested by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

  • Experience in an industrial, mining, or laboratory environment (an asset).

Candidate Profile

  • Ability to work in a dusty and physically demanding environment.
  • Good physical condition (ability to handle/lift loads).
  • Ability to follow strict procedures and work as part of a team.
  • Availability to work different shifts, as needed.
