Daily laborer/handyman, fly-in/fly-out (temporary)

  • Location: Eeyou Istchee, Baie-James, Fly-in/Fly-out
  • Schedule: Full-time (14/14)
  • Salary: Starting at $30/hour

Job Description

  • Operate various tools such as: miter saw, horizontal table saw, band saw, belt sander, drill press, etc.
  • General maintenance of a mining camp
  • Perform renovation tasks
  • Maintenance of industrial equipment (machines and tools)

Job Requirements

  • DEP in carpentry-joinery (an asset)
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing
  • Basic knowledge of the mining industry
  • Professional experience as a carpenter
  • Bilingualism in English/French (an asset)

  • Autonomy, sense of responsibility, and resourcefulness
  • Bilinguisme français/anglais (atout)
  • Good physical condition and ability to work in an industrial and sometimes demanding environment
