Mineral Processing Technician

  • Salary: Starting at $22/hour

Job Description

We are looking for a Mineral Processing Technician for a position starting in mid-August.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in pilot plant campaigns.
  • Receive and identify ore samples.
  • Dry, crush, grind, and sieve samples according to established procedures.
  • Weigh and divide samples for analysis.
  • Clean and maintain preparation equipment.
  • Comply with health and safety guidelines at all times.
  • Perform any other related tasks requested by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

  • College diploma (DEC) in metallurgy, chemical engineering, chemistry, or a related field (required)
  • Experience in an industrial, mining, or laboratory environment (an asset).
  • Ability to work in a dusty and physical environment.
  • Good physical condition (handling heavy loads).
  • Ability to follow strict procedures and work in a team.
  • Availability to work various shifts, as needed.
