Site Maintenance Laborer (14/14)

  • Schedule: Full-time (14/14)
  • Salary: Starting at $30/hour

Job Description

  • Operate light and heavy machinery as needed.
  • Carry out general upkeep of the yard and facilities
  • Receive and monitor fuel deliveries (diesel, propane, etc.)
  • Maintain inventory and supplies.
  • Inspect burners, equipment, and machinery
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Carry out basic grounds maintenance duties
  • Manage on-site composting activities
  • Comply with health and safety standards

Job Requirements

  • Hold and maintain a valid driver’s license (mandatory)
  • Fluency in French and English (required)
  • Experience in plumbing and carpentry (required)

Candidate Profile

 

  • Have at least two (2) years of experience in plumbing or carpentry;
  • Possess one year of experience in the mining industry (asset);
  • Attach great importance to occupational health and safety
  • Autonomy, resourcefulness, and reliability
  • Good physical condition
  • Be comfortable handling and moving heavy machinery as required
